Last Saturday I went to my local club, bearing in mind I haven't been for a while, and just made it in time to enter the tournament, I woke up late because I was up until 4 in the morning the previous night doing... nevermind. Anyhow it was a while since I have played in a real tournament and the only deck I had on me was my trusted plant deck, my main.
In swish I won everyone duel, to my surprise, and was then entered into the top 8. I was quite pleased with myself, I mean I hadn't played a real competitive game for over 8 months. In was about to win the first match but one card stopped me... Dark Armed Dragon... Fuck... I had a nice set up and was pushing for game but before I knew it DAD hit the field and nuked my setup and being the 3th round there was no way I could have turned the tables. I lose but I still got into the top 8 and still got a pack for getting that far. I'm quite proud for getting as far as I did.
This make me question the power of DAD... It's already limited to one for the reason that decks are able to abuse it easily but it's still being abused. I don't know, I haven't being checking the bloody meta out for ages.
Also in other note, I have a Yu-Gi-Oh team now called Team Gemini.
